Chainsaw Training Offered through Dane County Parks

WHAT:       Chainsaw Safety Training Course (Pre-registration is required)

WHY:          Volunteers are required to take Chainsaw Safety Training Course before using a chainsaw in a Dane County Park.  

WHEN:        Saturday, January 31, 2015 from  8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Course will start at 8:30 am and end by 4:30 pm. Attendance of the entire training  is required. The class will start promptly at 8:30. (Pending weather, the instructor may decide to have the hands-on training in the morning and direct the class to a location in Anderson Park.)

WHERE:     Lussier Family Heritage Center, 3101 Lake Farm Road Madison WI

(A box lunch will be provided to all participants courtesy of Dane County Parks)

In the afternoon, the class will have an outdoor hands-on training down the road at Lake Farm County Park at 4330 Libby Road Madison, WI.

WHAT TO BRING:

·        Safety gear – chaps, hard-hat, safety glasses, hearing/ear protection, and steel-toed boots

·        Your own chainsaw
